Our Mission
Chuck Adams, a proud veteran, first started training dogs over 20 years ago and now has a master's certification with the Tom Rose School of Dog Training. He uses compassionate dog-friendly techniques to stop unwanted behaviors and encourage positive ones. The Pappaws Dog Training Center offers various classes, both in-home or in a group setting, that will put you back in control and give your pooch the kind of guidance that it not only craves but needs.
Our Philosophy
Chuck, Robin, and the team at Pappaws believes that a trained dog is a happy dog, and a happy dog means a happy owner! Dogs want and crave guidance. Chuck and Robin will give you the tools you need to ensure your pooch behaves and you remain in control. Does your dog seem tense and aggressive? Is it's behavior wreaking havoc in your home? The Pappaws team will go the extra mile to turn your dog around and help you understand how best to work with your canine.
Our Classes
The Pappaws Dog Training Center offers various classes that can be taken either in-home or at the center in a group setting. We can stop unwanted behaviors, including potty training issues, aggressiveness, disobedience and more. We also offer training for special needs or tasks. Finding qualified trainers like yourself and Chuck has been far more difficult than we ever imagined and we were actually beginning to worry and were considering sending Xaffi far away for her training to ensure she was trained by certified professionals. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of them, but I found out about the IACP website (and then you!) through a book I'm reading by the Monks of New Skete, It was so wonderful speaking with Chuck yesterday because everything he spoke about matched what I've been reading, which was incredibly comforting. We heaved a huge sigh of relief after receiving your e-mail...let me tell you, we have spoken to many "trainers" and some of what we heard was a bit scary! :)
